Thanksgiving 2015

This year we hosted our first Thanksgiving dinner in our home. It makes me feel like an official adult! The week we first moved to Iowa another Ballard family moved in as well. Shortly after, we moved to our house so we're not in the same ward now. But when we were in the same ward no one could keep track of which Ballard was which (and rightfully so). It was fun to have them over, and we joked that we were spending Thanksgiving with family. If we do say so ourselves, the food was awesome!

Aunt Jamie found Orson the best Thanksgiving outfit! He looked so adorable with his turkey bum!

The girls had fun watching the Rockettes with me in the morning then playing around all day. After dinner they were playing quietly, too quietly. The next thing we know Lenora comes out like this...

Apparently they were playing "beauty salon." Oh my! The bathroom looked like a hurricane hit. At least they had fun!

We have so, so many things to be thankful for and these crazy kids are at the top of my list. Our life is so full of messes and crying and laundry right now. But it's also extremely full of joy and love and laughter. And that is worth all the laundry in the world!
