Halloween 2016

This year the kids, especially Eliza, wanted to grow a big pumpkin in our garden. As you can see it was a success! This pumpkin weighs 65 pounds!!! The day before Halloween we got to work carving it. It made an excellent elephant which was Eliza's choice of course.

For Halloween the kids were: Orson - yoda, Lenora - Anna from Frozen. I made her costume and I love how it turned out!

Eliza - Felicity the American Girl and Hazel - the new Cinderella

Of course there was awesome Iowa trunk-or-treat at a ward members acerage, school parades/festivals, and trick-or-treating the night of Halloween. These two put together awesome Halloween day outfits for school.

The girls even made sure the dogs were festive!

This was the first year Lenora understood trick-or-treating. It was adorable to watch her collecting her candy! Orson may not understand the trick-or-treating part but he definitely LOVED the candy part! (Suckers were the way I kept him calm while getting his casts on and off so he knew right away what those yummy things were. And to think Hazel never tasted one until she was almost 2. Fourth child privileges!)

Happy Halloween!
