The middle of October we used our free zoo passes from the summer reading program to enjoy a day at the zoo. We had an extra pass so Hazel's best friend Rose joined us. These two are so adorable! In fact, they remind me of myself and my best friend at that age - Renee. If they could, they would spend every afternoon playing. They are already planning to be roommates in college at BYU!
The weather was perfect and the animals were very active. This tiger sat right up by the glass looking at them for a long time.
It was Orson's first time at the zoo and he loved it! He especially liked hearing us make the animal noises. He even attempted a roar for the lion and a quack for a duck.
A great day with some great kids!
