The middle of May our best friends the Farrells moved away. It was such a sad day for all of us. Heather and I became fast friends after we moved to Iowa. She is an incredible woman and has taught me so much. What made our friendship even more perfect was the fact that our kids all got along so well. They've popped up on the blog many times before because we spent tons of time with them. We are all going to miss them so much! The only good thing about their move was that it made our own move a bit easier. Knowing Iowa without the Farrells will never be like Iowa with them makes it a bit easier to leave this beautiful place that we love.
Thankfully before we left we packed in tons of fun. The girls have done their American Girl book club the past two years, and have loved it so much! We did one final outing at the girls camp the church owns near us. We played games that made the girls stretch and do hard things like the girls they read about. It was an awesome afternoon!

The week of their move we spent several days over at their house packing and cleaning while the kids ran wild. We ended each day with some seriously exhausted, dirty, happy kids! Fantastic Farrells we'll miss you so much! Thankfully our hardest Iowa goodbye is already done.
