Lenora's First Grade Highlights

Lenora also wanted to post some highlights from her school year. She's had a great year and has made a ton of progress. At the beginning of the year she was sounding out basic words, and now she's reading short chapter books! 

Here are a few little books she completed. I love some of her illustrations! 

She also wrote this cute little story about a chicken and a deer who become fast friends.

Lenora also did gymnastics this year and really loved it! She got to participate in a showcase at the end of the year. In usual Lenora fashion, she was fearless (but didn't seem to enjoy having an audience haha!)

Her round-offs are fierce!

I should also add that Lenora breezed through her math this year - nearly acing almost every test. Lenora loves to work hard but she definitely loves to play hard too.
