Pando!

Before leaving Utah we HAD to get one more visit to Calla and Nathan in Fremont. They are always so generous in opening their home so we can all enjoy a few days of relaxing, riding ATVs, games, good food, and fun.

This trip Calla decided Lenora was old enough to learn to drive the quad. She had SO much fun (and was a bit of a speed demon!)

We made a day trip up to Fish Lake which is something in that area we haven't done before. It was SO beautiful and peaceful. The best part was seeing Pando! Pando is a grove of Aspen trees that are all genetically identical. It's the largest living organism in the world (minus some recently discovered fungus in the Northwest, but we're not counting that.)
Walter holding a "fish". It's just a rock, but he wouldn't think about letting it go.

Our trip was over way too soon. Thanks Calla and Nathan for a wonderful time. With the move, this was the closest we got to a family vacation this summer, so I'm especially glad we squeezed it in.
