Our 4th of July was wonderful this year! Grandma and Grandpa arrived from California the day before so it was fun to see them and celebrate with them.
The morning of the 4th we got up early to get ready for the parade. Grandma came with gifts of patriotic hair pretties and tutus (which were meant just for dress up the girls felt needed to be part of their outfits. So Hazel and Eliza!)

The parade was fun like always. We got great seats in the shade! The girls loved eating snacks, dancing, and spotting "princesses."

After the parade we made an impromptu trip down to Fremont to see Grandma Great. She moved back to California to live with family so we wanted to see her before she headed out. While we were there all the Cox clan was there for their annual family reunion. So we were able to see lots of Michael's cousins which was fun.

Michael also took each of the girls on a daddy/daughter ATV date. Hazel loved every minute of it. Eliza said it was scary when I drove her but loved it with daddy. Guess I'm not as cool as daddy:)
Family, fireworks, Fremont, fun, and freedom. What a wonderful way to celebrate our wonderful country!
