Summer is for....
A visit to the Louisville Slugger factory and museum.
Plenty of car naps...
Fleeing alien invasions...
Enjoying the Kentucky river, and bringing home all the sand!
Accidentally growing cucumbers bigger than your head...
And watching a huge wind storm take out your 7 foot sunflowers.
Brothers getting messy outside, and overalls without a shirt.
Swinging with mom...
Fires and cook-outs almost weekly. Bonus if friends join us!
Some chores of course...
Finding new parks...
... and discovering the splash pad for the first time.
The farmer's market!
Not wanting to miss out on taking your doll to the farmer's market and carrying your football in a sling instead!
Swimming!!!
Blueberry muffins with fresh blueberries...
Wacky Wednesday with friends...
Being invited to your first "late night, movie night" with friends!
Humidity curls! I love them.
Harvesting deliciousness from the garden, canning salsa, tomatoes, jams, and homemade spaghetti sauce.
We have had a wonderful summer!!! School starts tomorrow, and it's going to be a big, different year for us. We're nervous, but mostly excited.
